What if we made it a Wasaga tradition?

Imagine one weekend every year when Wasaga Beach turns into one giant yard sale.

One official weekend. One big map. Hundreds of residents opening their driveways, garages and yards.

People coming from across the region to hunt for treasures.

Neighbours talking to neighbours.

Local businesses benefiting from the extra people in town.

And maybe, years from now, someone says:

“Of course we're going to Wasaga for the Great Annual Yard Sale!”

That's the kind of simple idea I love.

It doesn't require a giant new building.

It requires some organization, community spirit and a willingness to try something different.

But if we're going to do it, let's make it something people actually want.
